I spent an entire day rigging in this linkage to the automatic transmission. I once thought I had a talent for this sort of thing, but this was harder to do and get perfectly right than I imagined. But very necessary if I want to drive this car with the automatic transmission. Note I removed the throttle cable connection from the transmission linkage assembly and connected it directly to the carburetor itself. From here I found it easier to fabricate a linkage to operate the lever to the transmission than to fabricate a linkage that would give me ease of throttle movement and range via of the automatic transmission linkage assembly itself.
